Teaching Children Effectively 1
Designed to offer a fresh approach to classroom learning, TCE will equip students with basic skills and effective methods to evangelize children and immediately begin a neighborhood outreach ministry or sustain their current ministry. Emphasis is placed on organizing and conducting meaningful classroom activities that enrich children spiritually and are also enjoyable.
In addition to regular course work, three practicum sessions conducted during the course provide each student with evaluated experience in applying the theory taught. Students are also required to participate in teaching five children’s classes within 90 days of completion of the course to receive a certificate.
TCE 1 is a 33-hour course taught by adjunct faculty of the Children’s Ministries Institute of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc.

Teaching with Music and much more
A certificate will be awarded to all who successfully complete this course. 5 Continuing Education Units can be earned for Christian School teachers! Homeschooled Highschool students can receive 1 Bible Credit and/or 1 Speech credit by taking this course.
Be a born-again Christian.
Be at least 15 years of age.
Be willing to participate in class activities including practicum sessions.

Teaching Children Effectively Level 2
Level 2 has been designed to enable you to effectively guide the saved child in his walk with the Lord. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the course builds on those things learned in Level 1 and provides practical methods for discipling boys and girls. Although the focus of TCE Level 2 is on the saved child, a strong evangelistic emphasis is also presented. Student practicums continue to be a vital part of the instructional process. TCE 2 is a course designed to provide the teacher with basic helps and teaching tools for guiding saved children in the systematic process of spiritual growth. It will also equip the teacher to develop and present narrative Bible Lessons as an effective means of conveying spiritual truth to saved children.

Basic needs of the child
Confession of sin
Developing the child’s appreciation of God
Being a witness for God
The ministry of teaching
Bible lesson preparation and presentation
Teaching the Message of Salvation in the class hour
Motivation faithful attendance
Plus, you choose five practical teaching opportunities with children to enhance classroom study.
Requirements for TCE 2:
Completed TCE 1 and received Certificate
Actively involved teaching children
