Praise and Prayer Requests for April 29, 2024
Praise God with us:
- The Spring Dessert banquet went very well and the offering received will be help with summer ministry expenses.
- We had the CEF Story Tent at the Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday. We talked with 200 children, 11 teens, and 13 adults and 6 children indicated trusting Jesus as Savior!
- Students are sending in their applications for Christian Youth In Action™ training.
- God has supplied 87% of the funds needed for John Patton for his summer of ministry with CEF.
- Vivian is working with a group for possible financial support.
Please pray with us:
- Please pray for Elias. He is planning a short trip to Ethiopia (leaving May 7 or 8). He has the funds for the ticket, but needs funds to live on while he is there in Ethiopia. If you would like to help him with those expenses, please send you contribution right to Elias. (Make check out to Elias Abdi and send to 4215 W. Mt. Hope Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
- Pray for 5-Day Club locations. Many days and times are available. Contact our office (517-322-0001) or go to capareacef.org to sign up for a week of clubs.
- Pray for an increase in financial partners for CEF of MI, Capital Area Chapter.
- Pray for Bezawit: VISA interview to be granted soon; health issues
- Pray for these upcoming events:
- Committee Meeting Tuesday, May 7
- 5-Day Club Basics training – Thursday, May 30, and Wednesday, June 5.
- Preparations for CYIA
- CHESS Homeschool Expo – Monday, June 3
- CYIA training – June 16 – 28
- 5-Day Clubs and Fair ministry – July 7 – August 16, with a weekly club continuing until Sept. 4.
