Prayer Requests for June 11, 2018

Lesson 2 of the Turned Around Series for this summer is the story of David's kindness to Mephibosheth.  Because of Davids promise to Jonathon, David sought out family of Jonathon long after Jonathon's death and Mephibosheth was found.  David brought him into his home and made him like his own son, restoring all of Jonathon's wealth to Mephibosheth.

God, because of His great kindness, sought you and I, brought us into His family, and given us wealth beyond measure - wealth that last for all eternity.

Praise God:

1.  That, through faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are made a part of God's family forever!

2.   On Friday at the Gospel Fest in Potterville, we spoke with 85 children and 4 children made decisions to trust Christ as Savior.  We were rained out on Saturday.  Praise God with us for Marilyn, Avee, Rowan, and Alex that came to help the Hammar's on Friday.

3.  16 people were here Tuesday to help laminate the teaching visuals for CYIA students (and to help celebrate Maryann's birthday!).

4.  A new committee member, Andy Bird, has been approved!!!

5.  Sarah was able to represent CEF at the CHESS Open House (the Homeschool support group in the Lansing Area).

6.  Layla (Sarah's 2 year old) is feeling better after dealing with a hand, foot, and mouth infection.

Please pray with us:

1.  Students planning to come to CYIA need to get their remaining paperwork in this week.  Training begins June 20.

2.   Our committee Meeting is Tuesday evening.

3.  Continue to pray for full funding for Elias and that he would be able to get all of the days for CYIA off from his other job.

4.  Please pray as Sarah and Tyler continue to work to prepare for 5-Day Clubs and fair ministry this summer.

5.  Pray for CYIA training:  June 20 - 29.  Pray for the students and the staff as we work together to prepare for teaching the boys and girls this summer.

Next Monday, Doug and I will be leaving for CYIA.  Sarah will be posting a list of all the 5-Day Club locations for this summer, plus the workers teaching these clubs this summer.  We will not be able to do a prayer and praise each week, as we will be in and out of the office for fair ministry and clubs.

Thank you for praying for us.  We appreciate you.
